Fostering an appreciation of wood and all aspects of working with wood
Hut 11 ‘closed’ until 5 June
Update Thursday 15 July 2021:
We will (hopefully) re-open our doors on Wednesday 22 July to a limited capacity of 50 Members. A sign-in book at the front door will allow the first 50 Members to enter, at which time the doors will be shut.
Stay safe and wash your hands!
Hut 11 ‘closed’ until further notice
Update Saturday 21 August 2021:
We have closed our doors again at Hut 11 in line with Government guidelines on COVID-19, and for the health of all of our Members. As the situation develops over the coming weeks, we will hopefully learn more and the Guild Executive will advise all Members when we can open again. We hope all Members are well and are coping with this crisis as best they can.
Hut 11 ‘open’ to strictly limited capacity
Updated: Wednesday 28 July
Due to a limited easing of COVID-19 restrictions across Victoria, the doors at Hut 11 are open again, to a strictly limited capacity of 10 Members. A sign-in book at the front door allows the first 10 Members to enter, thereafter no-one else can enter until someone leaves.
We cannot think of any fairer option at this stage other that “First come, best dressed”, and apologise in advance for any Member who may be unable to enter due to numbers. Stay safe and wash your hands!
Those who do attend must wear masks whilst in the rooms. This is a legal requirement and is not optional. If you won’t wear a mask, don’t come as you will be refused entry.
We are very proud to show off our brand new website here at ballaratwoodies.org.au. This has been the work of a few months during the COVID-19 lockdown, and we have some exciting new features coming very soon, particularly for financial Members of the Guild. Stay tuned!
